Dolan-Jenner Industries introduces the Fiber-LiteŽ MI-157F Fiber Optic Illuminator. Ideal for controlled lighting applications, the MI-157F features 1,000-plus hours of lamp life, a Manual Iris for maintaining color temperature, an IR filter and holder to block damaging IR wavelengths, and a 25mm I.D. input port for versatility and adaptability.

The MI-157F is versatile and cost-effective and comes standard with an extended life EKE-X lamp, rated for 1,000 hours at full intensity, 2,000 hours at 90 percent and 4,000 hours at 80 percent intensity. Operating at 80 percent intensity can result in two years of standard operating time from only one lamp.

An IR filter and holder is included, with room for an additional 25 mm filter, which protects samples from damaging IR heat. The filter is easily accessed through the lamp access door and no tools are required to remove or add a filter for your changing applications.

The MI-157F also features a 25 mm Fiber Input Opening to accept almost any light guide and adapter combination. Dolan-Jenner offers a complete range of adapters and has the most extensive standard product line of fiber optic light guides. A front panel Manual Iris is convenient and easy to use, and by using the iris, intensity adjustments can be made while maintaining a constant color temperature.

The MI-157F is made with a stackable heavy duty ABS Plastic housing which is ideal for the lab and rugged enough for industrial environments.  The MI-157F is also dependable and safe, featuring thermal protection and certifications from UL, CE, and C-UL.
